I’m Simon Beames
Originally from Bury, England, I moved to Colorado Springs and brought 26 years of tile and remodeling experience with me. I started The British Remodeler because I saw too many contractors cutting corners — skipping waterproofing, rushing layouts, and using cheap materials on expensive projects.
That’s not how I work. Every shower I build starts with a properly sloped pan and full waterproofing membrane. Every backsplash gets a clean, precise layout. Every mosaic is hand-cut and placed with intention. I use Schluter, GoBoard, and Mapei systems because they’re the industry standard for a reason.
I don’t sub out the work. When you hire me, you get me — on site, every day, until the job is done right. That’s how it should be.
